The Pilllar Team

The three “Ls” are also a reference to three disciplines that came together to form the company. Pilllar was formed by leaders in the Design (Brandstetter Carroll Inc.), Construction (Trace Creek Construction), and Finance (Jake Schirmer) industries. Those services form the backbone of any successful P3 project. 
 

The formation of this company communicates to clients the three industry leaders have committed to a long-term partnership to serve clients in the municipal space. The University of Kentucky has been utilizing P3s for many years, as this provides a turnkey solution with set payment. The P3 model - Design/Build/Finance/Operate/Maintain allows municipalities to not get bogged down in real estate and the ongoing operations, instead, focusing on service to its constituents.
